Hap-BEE Fri-YAY! 🍂✨ A Shimmery Fall Slimline Card with Glow of Harvest
There’s just something about fall crafting that makes my crafty heart happy! 🍁🐝
Warm colors, cozy textures, leaves, pumpkins, and just a little bit of shimmer… YES, PLEASE!
For today’s Hap-BEE Fri-YAY, I’m putting one gorgeous product front and center: Glow of Harvest Specialty Designer Series Paper, August’s exclusive Product of the Month!

🍂 Let the DSP Be the Star!
When you have gorgeous Designer Series Paper, sometimes the best thing you can do is let the paper shine!
That’s exactly what I did with today’s card.
I created a slimline card featuring the beautiful fall patterns from the Glow of Harvest Specialty DSP. The warm autumn colors and subtle shimmer create a beautiful background without needing a lot of extra fuss.
The paper features fall-inspired designs with pumpkins, leaves, acorns, and florals in a gorgeous palette of:
- Cajun Craze
- Crumb Cake
- Early Espresso
- Golden Glow
- Pecan Pie
And did I mention the shimmer?! ✨
It adds just the right amount of sparkle and makes these fall patterns feel extra special.
🍁 Adding a Little More Dimension
To complement the beautiful DSP, I pulled out the Simply Leaves Stamp Set & Punch.
I used Cajun Craze ink and a little sponge daubing to add some soft shadowing and dimension.
I love how just a little bit of sponging can take a stamped element from flat to beautifully finished!
Then I added some Linen Thread and a few sequins for those final little details.
Sometimes it’s those small finishing touches that make a card feel complete!
