If you love bright colors, playful patterns, and a little extra sparkle, today’s card tutorial is for you! I’m sharing a fun, whimsical birthday card that combines colorful stamping, embossed texture, and pretty little details to create a birthday greeting that’s sure to make someone smile.
Sometimes a handmade card just needs a little color, a little creativity, and a touch of shimmer to make it extra special!
🎂 Let’s Get Colorful!
For today’s card, I combined the Round About Messages stamp set with the Playful Patterns stamp set to create a bright ombre background. The playful stamped pattern adds so much personality, and the Swirls of Magic Embossing Folder brings in that extra layer of whimsical texture.
I love how combining stamping and embossing can take a simple card design and make it feel a little more special!
To build the design, I also used the Scalloped Blooms Dies and the 2″ Circle Punch to add some fun shapes and dimension. A piece of textured white ribbon softens the bright colors, & I finished the card with In Color Flat Pearls for that perfect finishing touch!
And the sweetest little detail? I added a touch of Golden Glow Shimmer Brush to the candle on the birthday cake image. Because every birthday deserves a little sparkle! ✨
