🎄 Creating with the Christmas Crew Bundle
The Christmas Crew Stamp Set features the cutest playful Christmas characters, including a bear, snowman, and reindeer! I love that these whimsical images can hold little signs stamped with seasonal greetings. They’re perfect for adding personality to Christmas cards and gift tags.
For today’s card, I paired these adorable images with the Timeless Christmas Designer Series Paper to create a festive design with lots of interest and dimension.
I used Stampin’ Blends markers to color the stamped images and added a touch of Wink of Stella for that extra bit of Christmas snow sparkle. ✨
✂️ An Easy Way to Score Designer Series Paper
One of the techniques I share in today’s video is how to score Designer Series Paper using a scoring board.
Scoring your paper before folding helps create neat, crisp folds and makes fun fold cards much easier to assemble. It’s a simple step that can make a big difference in the finished look of your card!
If you’ve ever felt a little intimidated by fun fold cards, I encourage you to give this one a try. Once you get comfortable scoring your paper, you’ll have so many possibilities for creating unique card designs.
❤️ The Colors & Details
For this Christmas card, I brought together a festive combination of colors and details:
- Poppy Parade for a bright pop of Christmas red.
- Peaceful Pine for a rich, traditional Christmas green.
- White Craft Ink for a crisp accent.
- Wink of Stella for a touch of shimmer.
- Stampin’ Blends markers to color the adorable Christmas Crew images.
- Scalloped Christmas Dies to create pretty layered details and add dimension.
Together with the Timeless Christmas Designer Series Paper, these elements create a cheerful card that feels extra special!
🐝 Let’s Get Crafty!
I hope this card inspires you to look at your Designer Series Paper in a new way and try a fun fold for your Christmas cards this year.
Remember, handmade cards don’t have to be complicated to be meaningful. A little patterned paper, a few stamped images, and some creative touches can turn simple supplies into happy mail that lets someone know you’re thinking of them. And honestly, that’s one of my favorite things about card making!
Be sure to watch today’s Fri-YAY video on my StampinQueenBee YouTube channel to see the entire card come together and follow along with the scoring and assembly.
