Today’s Christmas Card Details
For this week’s project, I wanted to create a card that would remind us to keep the message of Christmas at the heart of our celebrations.
I used the Rejoice Stamp Set, which features beautiful nativity imagery, scripture-inspired sentiments, and faith-filled details. It’s such a lovely set for creating Christmas cards with a little extra meaning.
Here’s what makes today’s card special:
- Gold Heat Embossing: I heat embossed the sentiment in gold to give it a beautiful shine and make it stand out.
- Secret Sea Ink: I used Secret Sea ink to stamp the stable and nativity images.
- White Craft Ink Background Technique: I created a fun background using White Craft Ink for added interest and texture.
- Layered Cardstock: Several layers add dimension and help all the elements of the card pop.
- Double Ribbon Detail: I tied together White Textured Ribbon and Secret Sea & Gold Ribbon for a pretty finishing touch.
The combination of gold, white, and Misty Moonlight creates such a peaceful and elegant look!
