Window Flap Fold Card with the Friendly Foliage Bundle
Happy Fri-YAY! Today’s card project is bright, cheerful, and full of interactive fun.
In this week’s card class, I’m sharing how to create a Window Flap Fold Card using the Friendly Foliage Bundle. This design features three panels that open to reveal a layered die-cut window, creating a beautiful peek-through effect.
A Fun Interactive Design
The highlight of this card is the 3-panel flap structure. Each panel reveals more of the design as it opens, making the card feel extra special and engaging.
Layered foliage die cuts frame the window and add depth, giving the card a dimensional, garden-inspired look.
Bright Color Palette
For this project, I used a fresh and happy color combination:
- Basic White
- Coastal Cabana
- Granny Apple Green
- Basic Grey
I also featured patterns from the Brights Family 6×6 Designer Series Paper pack, which adds bright color and playful energy to the design.
Texture & Finishing Touches
To enhance the background, I used the Paradise Garden Hybrid Embossing Folder, which adds beautiful texture and complements the foliage theme perfectly.
Final details include:
- A white baker’s twine bow
- Pearlized faceted circle embellishments
- Layered die cuts for dimension
These small touches help elevate the card and give it that extra wow factor.
If you enjoy fun folds and interactive designs, this Window Flap Fold is a wonderful technique to add to your cardmaking toolbox.
