Sweet & Simple Cake Day Card Class | Realistic Frosting Technique! 🍰✨

Today’s Free Card Class is all about making cards that look delicious! I’m using the brand new Cake Day Stamp Set & Dies, and this bundle completely surprised me — those dies add so much charm and dimension, especially when you build a layered cake scene.

For today’s project, I pulled inspiration from my Happy Hive Team’s November Color Challenge: Pecan Pie, Crumb Cake, and Pool Party. These colors create a soft, sweet, café-style palette that works beautifully with a cake theme.

The technique that takes this card over the top is the realistic frosting.
Using Shimmery White Embossing Paste and my palette knives, I added thick, textured layers that sparkle just like sugared frosting. It’s such a fun technique and incredibly beginner-friendly.

I also used:
• Whispers of Texture Specialty Paper for a soft snowy feel
• Hobby Haven DSP to add cozy design layers
• And the Cake Day Dies, which truly make the whole project shine
